I started this blog to better chronicle the makes on my handmade wardrobe journey. Ready to wear (RTW) clothing has always been a major disappointment for bodies like mine – short/petite but very full busted, short-waisted, with narrow shoulders and a sway back. So when I got tired frustrating myself with the limited shop offerings, I returned to the love of sewing my own clothes that started in my teenage years.
I discovered the amazing online sewing community in 2012 and haven’t looked back. There are so many talented people across the world who are not only inspiring with the gorgeous garments but also share both the good and the bad that comes along with sewing. Here’s hoping that I can pay it forward and help you too!
P.S. I’m sure you will notice that I like love purple. No. Seriously. I. LOVE. PURPLE. There will be A LOT OF PURPLE on this blog. Be advised.
